The 75-voice Towne Singers community chorus is presenting its next concert at 4pm on Saturday June 13, 2026 at the Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Performing Arts Center, 2495 East Mountain Street, Pasadena.
The concert title/theme is “They’re Playing Our Song”, and features selections that are the favorites of our choir members. These include a broad spectrum of popular choral numbers, including “Come Fly With Me,” “Riders in the Sky,” the iconic “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and a beautiful new arrangement of “Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
The chorus, under the direction of Lance Merrill, features singers from the greater Los Angeles area, and has been entertaining audiences in the Foothill communities for 39 years, and has participated in choral festivals performed in Italy, Austria, the British Isles, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center.
The concert venue is the beautiful Manoukian Performing Arts Center in Pasadena. The theater provides comfortable seating and free parking. There are many good restaurants in the area for post-concert dining.
