CONDUCTOR, TOWNE SINGERS

Beth Richey is a native of Kansas City, Missouri where she completed her undergraduate degree in both Choral & Instrumental Music Education at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Conservatory of Music & Dance. She received her Master’s of Music in Choral Conducting at UCLA with the world renowned Donald Neuen. She conducted the UCLA Chamber Singers, Chorale & UCLA Symphony Orchestra.

Beth has been conducting church music since the young age of 19, and is the director for the Towne Singers in La Cañada, CA. She also teaches at Hoover High School in Glendale, CA where she conducts Marching Band and Choral Music, grades 7-12. Her students have received multiple outstanding music rankings at local, district & national festivals.

Beth is active in SCVA, ACDA & CMEA. She is member of the Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity. She has directly studied with Rika Heruth, Charles Robinson, UnChong Christopher, & Donald Neuen. She sang in ensembles under the direction of Eph Ehly, JoMichael Scheibe, Simon Carrington, and many more.
